6 p.m. in the large hall at St. Mark’s Church, Calder Rise, Brickhill.

St. Mark’s Church Hall, Brickhill, starting at 7pm. The charge will be just £12, which includes a welcome drink of Glühwein, a hot German-style supper, desserts, and other drinks.

We have invited the students from Bamberg to come along and we will be singing a selection of German & English carols with musical accompaniment.

Annual Anglo-German Remembrance Day Service of Remembrance and Reconciliation

German Military Cemetery, Cannock Chase, Staffordshire at 12.00 noon, followed by a reception at the Haling Dene Centre, Penkridge at 1.30 p.m.

Goodbye Germany Exhibition

National Army Museum, Chelsea

Margarete and Rosemary visited this exhibition by train. The exhibition was examining the effects of more than 70 years of the British Army’s presence in Germany, which has now come to an end.
