Formed 25 years ago, we are a group of Bedfordians interested in keeping up friendly links with families in Bamberg - the twin town of Bedford. We meet together during the year, have a meal from time to time and each year either we go over to Bamberg and stay with families there or welcome in our homes families from Bamberg.

Bedford has been twinned with Bamberg for over 30 years and we are happy to be part of the Town Twinning Programme. Bamberg is situated about 60 miles from Nuremberg in the state of Bavaria in southern Germany.

We have a full programme of meetings and visits during the year and we are happy to welcome anyone who is interested in meeting and talking to people in other countries and learning about what makes them tick.

There is an application to fill out if you want to join us on a permanent basis. The annual fee is only £10 per person. You can come to one of our meetings first and see how we enjoy ourselves. Details of our programme can be found via the link. Reading our Newsletter will give you the venues and further details of what the meeting is about.

Everyone welcome! Why not give us a try?! If you would like to join the group, or have any questions see the 'Contact' page
