Friday 9th

Bring and Share Party
7pm at St. Andrew’s Church Hall. 

FEBRUARY

 

Friday 6th

Crop Circles : talk with Keith & June
7.30pm at St. Mark's Church.
Refreshments will be available.

MARCH

 

Wednesday 4th

Annual General Meeting
7.30pm at the Retirement Centre, Rothsay Road. 
The Minutes of last year’s AGM and the Agenda for this meeting will be available on the night.
Tea/coffee and a selection of cakes will be served. 

APRIL

MAY

 

Sunday 10th

A walk round Priory Marina – for an hour or so, followed by lunch in the Beefeater.  We meet at 10.45 in the car park. The walk will be led by Tony & Evelyn

JUNE

 

Wednesday 10th

Stammtisch evening at the Retirement Centre, Rothsay Gardens.  We will meet at 7pm to have dinner at 7.30pm – the 2 course meal will be German recipes!  Wine and soft drinks will be provided.  Eric will be giving us a short talk on Dresden after the meal.  Most probably the cost will be £15.

JULY

 

Wednesday 8th

Visit to Knebworth House and gardens – meeting at 11.30am, for a guided tour of the house at 12 noon for an hour.  Lunch can be bought in the restaurant, café or Garden Terrace Tearoom – or a picnic enjoyed outside if the weather is good – and the gardens are well worth visiting too.  Tickets are £8.50 and we will make our own travel arrangements as Knebworth is situated just off Junction 7 of the A1.

AUGUST

 

Saturday 8th

Summer supper. Mary & John Bromley have kindly offered to host it again in their lovely garden.

In early October June & Keith will be giving their talk ‘The Crop Circle Mystery.’  In November   and on Friday December 4th we have our St. Nikolaus party.

Richard Wildman will be talking to us about the history of Bedford
